Politics, Opinion, and Religion
So, I was tagged on a note from Facebook where a religious and political individual wanted some things explained to him. A list was made of all the things he saw wrong with Obama and how people could over look these things and support him. He also made it very clear that he has conservative and religious opinions.
He asked that people respond with their explanations and be open minded to his responses. In the nature of politics, I'm more than willing to accept what he has to say if he takes what I have to say seriously. I tried my best to not attack the person, but to attack the views, but, unfortunately, the two start to become kinda fuzzy on somethings. If some of this seems like a personal attack, I apologize in advance.
For any/everyone else that might read this, please feel free to respond as well. I enjoy educated discussions on politics. You could very easily point out a serious flaw in my reasoning. The flip-side to that is you have to be accepting of the fact that I may very well do the same to you. I've posted my rebuttal in 4 parts just to make it a little easier to get through. I also posted them in reverse order so you don't have to back track to read them. Just start at 1 (which follows this post immediately), and work your way down from there.
Thanks for reading! Comments and reasons I'm a blasphemer can either be posted here on the blog, or directly to wtobler (at) unpersons (dot) org.

So, a guy I know posted this on his blog yesterday. I thought it was very intelligent and insightful. Kick it around a little as well.
